Roger Epstein is a founding director and current president of the Maitreya Institute, a non-profit that has sponsored programs related to art, healing, and spirituality across cultures since 1984. He has been actively involved in interfaith and community activities in Hawaii since 1975.
Some of his notable roles include serving as the host of the Hawaii Forgiveness Project, president of the All Believer's Network, and a director of organizations like the Queen's Hospital, T'ai Hsuan Foundation, Hawaii Center for Attitudinal Healing, and the Joseph Campbell Foundation.
Mr. Epstein received a law degree with honors from Georgetown University and retired from his domestic and international tax law practice at Cades Schutte, Honolulu, in 2016 after receiving peer honors like the Hawaii Bar's Greeley-Key Award for innovation in the law and the Best Lawyers in America designation as the best tax lawyer in Hawaii. He has taught as an associate law professor at the University of Hawaii and Beiwai Foreign Studies University in Beijing. Overall, he has dedicated himself to promoting spirituality, healing, community service, and legal innovation throughout his career in Hawaii.
Elizabeth Reveley is an educator, trainer, coach, and mentor, her career and personal growth have focused on the global benefits of self-care and now mentors students around the world integrating the soul, heart, mind, energy, and body (Shen, Chi, and Jing) to increase their life force for health, happiness, and longevity.
Elizabeth has been an educator her whole life and is the Founder and Former Director of The American Institute of Massage Therapy. She is the founder and CEO of The Radical Self-Care Movement, and Co-Producer and Director of the Voyage of Aloha and various participation events. She has been a producer and director at Olelo, Hawaii since 2008 where she pursued interdisciplinary educational opportunities.
Ms. Reveley is currently a certified Master Teacher of Tao Academy focusing on the transformation to global health and happiness for all humanity.
With 46 years of experience as a Tibetan Buddhist Meditation teacher, He has guided others on the path of mindfulness and self-discovery. He founded three meditation centers and served as a senior teacher at the Kailua Shambhala Center for 13 years. In 1995, He established Windhorse HealthCare, a holistic clinic in Kailua, Hawaii. He is a Certified Co-Active Life/Death Coach since 2009 and holds an M.F.A. in Dance from the University of Utah. He served as a mindfulness meditation instructor in prisons across four states, including Halawa Correction Facility, Hawaii for nine years. He has authored works on meditation and holistic health. Beyond his professional life, he cherishes roles as a husband, father, dancer, and sailor.
Leilani Petranek, known affectionately as "Lani," is a cultural ambassador and spiritual guide deeply rooted in the spirit of aloha. Former Executive Director of the Maitreya Institute, she bridges cultures through the arts as an International Artist in Resident and Cross-Cultural Creative Consultant specializing in Sacred Arts and Cinema.
Leilani is the creator of "YOGA of ALOHA Good Vibes Simplified," a healing system blending ancient wisdom with modern practices. Her authored works, include SPIRIT OF HULA, MANA O HULA illuminate Hawaiian spirituality and cultural heritage.
Her contributions extend to entertainment production, notably as Hawaii Producer/Interviewer for the Smithsonian's "Living Voices" Indigenous Series and Executive Producer at KKCR, Kaua'i Community Radio. As a cultural and creative consultant for ECOH, she advises the Entertainment Collective of Hawaii.
Leilani shares aloha globally as a guest speaker and mentor, drawing from her deep spiritual practice and connection to Hawaii's cultural essence. She is an International Honorary Member of the Waitaha Grandmothers Executive Council in Aotea Roa, New Zealand — the only UN-recognized peace nation — embodying harmony, respect, and aloha in all endeavors.
